The Birth of Billybird – Glenda Seal

This story tells of the robin’s progress from “warm blob” in a shell, to their hatching into robins. Billy is not alone, and in a matter of hours he is joined by Betty and Baby.

The three fledgling robins then meet Mum and Dad and grow into juvenile robins which do not have the distinctive red chests yet.
