I recently met up with Zoë Dawes, The Quirky Traveller, who is based not too far from us. Zoë sums up The Quirky Traveller as
“… a place to share a love of travel and life’s more quirky aspects. As well as my own musings on a wide variety of topics, guest writers contribute their own thoughts on an aspect of life and travel that appeals to them and hopefully many others …”
Voted in the Top 10 Inspiring Travel Bloggers 2010, and more recently winner of Travel Titbits Britain’s Best Travel Blogger 2011, Zoë also runs writing workshops and retreats around the theme of travel and her next Travel Writing Workshop is on the 8th October in lovely Leighton Hall, on the Cumbria-Lancashire border.
This year she published a Travel Journal with 2QT, fulfilling a long-term ambition to produce a notebook for other writers to jot down their thoughts and ideas on their journeys.
So for all you travellers out there who would like to know how to write travel blogs, check out The Quirky Traveller.
