Printed Books
From 1–1000+ copies we can help you select and work with the best printers for your needs. Our printing partners offer a number of options, depending on your budget. You will have full control over how many books you have for your own stock. We are continually developing relationships with printers to bring our authors competitive prices for print. We also help authors set up accounts (where required) with printers and we will supply the print ready files.
Print on Demand (PoD) services will print as you need them to supply your personal customers, so you do not have to keep dozens of copies under the bed! The PoD market has really improved over the last few years and now caters for black and white as well as colour books; they also supply hardback books. The PoD company we work with offers a distribution service which many authors find beneficial. This lets you track sales and receive payments for sales.
The ‘traditional’ printers allow greater flexibility in the appearance of your book. These companies can print embossed, UV Spot, colour photos/images. In many cases they will be more cost effective for larger print runs.
As far as possible we use UK based-printers but for certain formats we use approved printing outlets in Europe and China.
See our partners page for more details on the printers we work with
eBooks
We had a number of enquiries about eBooks so we did some homework and looked at the marketplace for a good distributor to work with. We have signed up with an experienced digital distributor.
We can convert your book to the required digital formats to accommodate the variety of platforms currently available. We also prepare the files and metadata for the distributor; once your account is set up, you will be up and running. You will have your own account with the eBook distributor so you can track sales and receive payments. Our distributors have access to all the major eBook retailers and, of course, with Amazon’s Kindle Store.
Alternatively if you would like to manage your own ebooks – we can supply the files directly to you.
If you are interested in finding how your book can be converted to an eBook then please do get in touch for an informal chat (that means no hard sell on the end of the phone!)
