Book Signings and Author Events – November – December 2011

Book Signings in November:

Syliva Mayall will be signing her debut book The Silent Mentor  at the following Bookshops throughout November and December

5th November – Waterstones, Deansgate, Bolton from 11am
12th November – Waterstones, James Street, Harrogate from 11am
18th November – Waterstone’s in Wilmslow from 11am
19th November – The Carnforth Bookshop, Carnforth Lancashire
26th November – Waterstone’s in Hereford
3rd December – Waterstone’s in Aberystwyth from 11am

9th November   – Paul will be at Waterstone’s Branch at 89A Broad Street, Reading from 6.30pm – 8.30pm – This is both a panel discussion and a signing .
12th November – Waterstone’s in the Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth London from 11am

12th November  – Jackie Huck will be doing a books signing and a reading of her Cats Like Me book at the Carnforth Book Shop, Carnforth Lancashire from 10.30 – 12.30

26th November – Frank English  will be at Waterstone’s King’s Street Branch, Lancaster from 11am signing 18 Mulberry Road

October 7th – 8th 2011 – Roger Thompson will be launching his recent release Eye of Athina at the New Writers UK Book Festival VII on  Saturday (8th) from 10am – 5pm in the Assembly Hall, Nottinghamshire’s County Hall West Bridgford near Trent Bridge NG2 7QP.  Full programme details inc free talks and writers’ workshops – click here for more details  Festival admission and parking is free.

8th October 2011 – Paul Ferguson will be signing his new thriller Killing the Dead at Waterstone’s Branch on 17 Stanley Walk in Bracknell from 11am – 5pm. There is more information on Paul’s  blog at www.pferguson.co.uk

15th October 2011  – Paul Ferguson will be at Waterstone’s Branch in The Oracle, Reading from 11am – 5pm. There is more information on Paul’s  blog at www.pferguson.co.uk

22nd October 2011 – Hannah Ensor will be launching her new series for young children in association with Whizz-Kidz – Biscuit Baking and Welly Walks, with a book signing and event to be held at the Willowcroft Community School, Mereland Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 8BA from 2.00 – 3.30pm.  Guest appearance from Fran Williamson, swimmer and 6 time paralympic medalist for Great Britain.

22nd October 2011 – Frank English will be at Carnforth Bookshop, Carnforth,  Lancashire from 1030am- 12.30pm signing his three children titles Magic Parcel – The Awakening, Magic Parcel – The Gathering Storm and his latest release – 18 Mulberry Road.

29th October 2011 – Frank English will be at Henry Roberts Bookshop, Kendal from 10.30 am- 1.30pm  signing his three children titles Magic Parcel – The Awakening, Magic Parcel – The Gathering Storm and his latest release – 18 Mulberry Road.

One of our new authors Maggi Toner-Edgar, who has her title Diary of a Hatter out on 1st February 2012, will be running a workshop Become your own Personal Stylist – a weekend course of fun and should save you the cost of the course itself through organising your wardrobe- at Higham Hall, Bass Lake, Keswick.

Maggi is a professional fashion designer, stylist, lecturer and researcher

This course will explore your own personal sense of style, developing a sensitivity to design, cut, silhouette, cloth and working with different figure types. You will be encouraged to assemble a ‘lookbook’ to move on your own design knowledge and refresh your personal image. This course is about building a confident and self-assured approach to styling for any situation. It will be an exciting journey from caterpillar to butterfly – learning how to be remarkable by simply being yourself.
