Steve Molloy was born at a very early age in a rural village in Lancashire to a loving family. Although he didn’t miss a day of his schooling life he was found wanting when it came to exams. He left school in 1969 to become an apprentice hairdresser where upon he gave his life to cutting hair and serving the public. He now lives on the outskirts of Preston, the town he grew up in, learning his trade and where all the tales and his life experiences stem from.
Married to Jean for over 35 years, he is a proud father of two daughters and granddad (pops) to three grandchildren (at present).
In 1977 the business opened a new salon in a massive, and what is now the iconic bus station in Preston. It was at the time, considered a gamble to open a hairdresser’s in a bus station, however it still thrives today after 35 years!
Outside of cutting hair Steve has been a football referee in local amateur football for over 35 years, and has, over the last 19 years, also climbed every ‘Wainwright’ summit in the Lake District. He also tries very hard to master the art of golf.
