Sarah Hampton is Cumbrian born and bred. After working in London, marriage, bringing up a family and travelling, she returned to her northern roots to farm. She lives with her husband on the Westmorland Fells in the North West of England. Her debut novel Learning to Tie A Bow was shortlisted in the Lakeland Book of the Year 2013
