Roger W Thompson lives in Dorset. After a career in photography and writing, retirement now gives him time to return to the drafts of short stories and novels he has written over the years. EYE of ATHINA is his first publication and evolved whilst on a visit to a Greek island when he unexpectedly became privy to some very sensitive information about the effects on the islands from the collapse of the Berlin Wall in ’89 and the Bosnian conflict where he made two subsequent trips for research. The identities of the locals and the name of the holiday island have been changed to protect the guilty.
