Jeff Connor was born in Manchester, went to school in Bury and spent most of his career in national newspapers including the Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, Scottish Sun and Scotland on Sunday. He is the author of twelve sports books, among them Wide-Eyed and Legless, the classic account of the 1987 Tour de France and The Lost Babes, the story of the Munich air disaster of 1958.
He lives in Lytham. Looking for Lulu is his first novel.
