After six long years of plodding, I finally finished my book and went about getting it published. I did a little research and read a few books on getting your book published, and as much self publishing was an option, I started sending my manuscript off to appropriate publishers. As much as the rejection letters were reasonably kind, no one actually told me not to give up my day job, after six turndowns (J K Rowling was reputed to have received over twenty) I decided to try self publishing.
The first two didn't even want to read my manuscript, but wanted me to hand my money over regardless of the feasibility of it being readable. Then by chance I saw a book published by 2QT. So I checked them out on the Internet for adverse comments but unlike the previous two self publishers who had scathing negative comments, 2QT only had recommendations.
Wonderful from the start. From the reasonable price to the encouragement, to the professional advice to the control I had over my own work, I was encouraged to get involved from the start. Catherine and her team were always available to talk on the phone or communicate by e-mail. I feel so lucky that I not only went for self publishing but chose 2QT. Thank you Catherine and all your team for the book that looks and feels just right and so professional. As well as a fantastic book which is admired from all who have purchased it, it is on Amazon, Kindle and e-books - all in the package.
I have no qualms whatsoever about recommending both self publishing and 2QT as your publisher. For the price of a weeks holiday in Spain you to can become a published author.
